01 — The starting point

What the owners

wanted to change

A family home that had aged in place: draughty, dark in the middle, with networks that no longer met their needs. The owners wanted to stay, and keep its character.

02 — What we checked first

The state of the structure and roof, moisture in the walls, and the existing electrics and plumbing. A structural engineer reviewed the two openings before any quote was final.
